If a damage roll is maximized or an effect deals maximum damage, treat the damage roll as the highest possible result without rolling.
Example: If 2d6 + 2 is maximized, it simply deals 14 damage.
A shortcut for maximized damage dice is to multiply the numbers before and after the d. Maximized 8d6 for example is 8 × 6 = 48.
