Requirement. You must start with Strength 11 or higher to make a protag of this lineage.
Creature Type. You are a dragon, instead of a humanoid. You can function as a quadruped while your hands are unoccupied.
Size. A drake stands just shy of 8 feet (or 250 cm), and weighs around 650 pounds (or 300 kg). Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your walking speed is 40 feet, but decreases to 30 feet whenever your hands are occupied.
Flame Breath. As an action, you exhale magical flames in a 15-foot cone. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Constitution DC (which is 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus). On a failed save a creature takes Pd6 fire damage, where P is your proficiency bonus. On a successful save a creature takes half as much damage. You must finish a rest before you can use this feature again.
Fire Resistance. You have resistance to fire damage.
Natural Armor. Your AC is never lower than 11 + your proficiency bonus.
Claws. While you have an unoccupied hand, you can use your claws to make an unarmed strike. When you hit with one, this strike deals slashing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the normal damage for an unarmed strike. The damage die increases by one step each time your proficiency bonus increases beyond +2, becoming d6 at +3, d8 at +4, d10 at +5, and d12 at +6.
Languages. You can read, write, and speak both Common and Draconic.
Heritage. Choose one heritage from the options listed below. Alternatively, you can instead choose from any folk heritage.

Drakes are wingless dragons who rarely grow beyond the size of a tiger, or what true dragons call the "wyrmling" stage of growth. A drake can move with two legs or four, somewhat like a bear, but tends to fight best when their claws are free to rend foes. scalyboi.
