Humans who were modified to gain vampires draining ability
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength, Dexterity and Constitution scores decrease by 1
Age. Like normal humans, they mature in their late teens and rarely reach 100 years. However, there are stories of absorbers gaining the ability to rejuvenate themselves with the lifeforce of others.
Alignment. Their abilities and the discrimination against them means they tend to end up evil.
Size. Like Humans they vary widely in height and build, from barely 5 feet to well over 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Bite. You can make a special melee attack that deals 1 piercing damage and the drain trait is triggered twice (as in they make two saves).
Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and one other language of your choice.

Absorber[edit]

Odd Constitution. If your Constitution score is an odd number then add half your level to your max hit points.
Drain. Once per round on a successful melee attack, they make a Constitution save with DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus or they take 1 Constitution damage and you can temorarly increase your Constitution score temporyly, to a maximum of your base Constitution modifier or increase one of the other ability scores to a maximum of your base Constitution modifier or regain half your level in HP.

The Constitution damage is healed after completing a long rest. the temporary ability score increases disappear after 1 hour.

CR limit. You do not gain any benefit from creatures with CR less than 1/8 of your level.

Leaker[edit]

Drain. Once per round on a successful melee attack, they make a Constitution save with DC = 8 + your Constitution modifier + proficiency bonus or they take 1 Constitution damage and 1 point of damage to another ability score or they gain one level of exhaustion or they are stunned until the beginning of your next turn.

The ability score damage is healed after completing a long rest.
