Timeline of Vostaru[edit]

Vostaru was once a thriving, prosperous kingdom, ruled by the Seven Great Houses, each controlling vast territories through a mixture of magic, politics, and religion. The land was rich in resources, with bustling cities, fertile plains, and sacred sites honoring the ancient Forgotten Heroes—legendary protectors who safeguarded the realm from long-forgotten threats. The kingdom's inhabitants lived in a world of arcane wonder and political intrigue, but this fragile peace was shattered by greed and ambition.

Three thousand five hundred years ago, a powerful and ambitious wizard named Mazgrath uncovered the Tomb of the Forgotten Heroes, a fabled crypt said to house ancient artifacts capable of reshaping the very fabric of reality. His discovery set off a cataclysmic war as the Seven Great Houses sent their armies to claim the tomb and its treasures. As the conflict spread across the kingdom, magical forces ravaged the land, creating the Sundering Crater, a vast rift where the final battle between the warring factions took place. Mazgrath’s madness culminated in his death at the hands of a Balor demon, Arazagul, but the damage had already been done.

The Great War lasted for 450 years, leaving the kingdom in ruins. The Greenfist Army, originally a mercenary group, seized control of the capital city, Vostarus, but their reign was marked by corruption and decay. The land fractured into lawless regions, dotted with ancient ruins, haunted tombs, and forgotten temples, all containing powerful and dangerous relics of the past. Amidst this chaos, factions like the Crimson Band, a group of mercenaries, and the Lost Guardians, a secretive religious order, rose to power, each seeking control over the kingdom’s dwindling resources.

Now, in the present day, Vostaru is a land of forgotten glory and constant strife. The tombs and fortresses of the old world still hold incredible power, but they are treacherous and filled with deadly traps. Treasure hunters and adventurers brave these cursed places in search of lost knowledge and wealth, while factions vie for dominance in a shattered world. Some seek to restore the kingdom, others to exploit it, and some wish to unlock the dark secrets of Mazgrath’s twisted legacy, believing that the ancient magic could reshape the world—or destroy it entirely.

Vostaru is a land of mystery, danger, and ancient power, where the echoes of a lost kingdom still haunt the ruins, and the struggle for control over its forgotten secrets continues to shape its future.
