Earth Glide (Ex) The Royal Gatekeeper can glide through stone, dirt, or almost any other sort of earth except metal as easily as a fish swims through water. Its burrowing leaves behind no tunnel or hole, nor does it create any ripple or other signs of its presence. A move earth spell cast on an area containing a burrowing earth elemental flings the elemental back 30 feet, stunning the creature for 1 round unless it succeeds on a DC 15 Fortitude save.
Immunity to Magic (Ex) The Royal Gatekeeper is immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance.
Haste (Su) After it has engaged in at least 1 round of combat, The Royal Gatekeeper can haste itself once per day as a free action. The effect lasts 3 rounds and is otherwise the same as the spell.
Blaze Of Glory (Ex) The Royal Gatekeeper alights with embers as a bonus action, taking 9 (2d8) necrotic damage at the start of each of their turn. Their weapon attacks deal an additional 10 (3d6) fire damage for the duration. This effect lasts until the royal incinerator dies or extinguishes itself as a bonus action.
Ever Vigalent (Su) The Royal Gatekeeper remains inactive until a target enters within 50ft of the entrance of the Crypt and if it is defeated then it shall repair itself and reactivate as soon as another target comes within range.

Strategies and Tactics[edit]

It stands guards the entrance to the Crypt, only the worthy may dare challenge the Vile Mage.

Lore[edit]

The first is in The Silent King's experiments in the hybridization of constructs with other beings. Being the first of its kind is the simplest and thus the weakest, a suit of armor out of his hoards of treasure, animated and an earth elemental bound to it. It holds the simple duty of keeping out the unwanted, anything too weak to defeat this creation does not deserve to set foot inside the Crypt.
