Warlock Subclass

Your Patron is the last god of the lands of the old faith and the last of his kind. Having power over death and having conquered his domain through the slaughter of other gods and heretics, his goal is clear, to spread his faith and punish the unbelievers. (This subclass is a reference and homage to the video game Cult of The Lamb).

Expanded Spell List[edit]

1st-level The Lamb Patron feature

The Lamb Patron lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Spell Level Spells
1st False Life, Ceremony
2nd Spiritual Weapon, Augury
3rd Animate Dead, Speak with Dead
4th Divination, Death Ward
5th Geas, Raise Dead

The Cult Must Grow[edit]

1st-level The Lamb Patron feature

Your patron teaches you how to convince others to join your cult. You must choose between the Persuasion, Deception, or Intimidation skills, you gain expertise with that skill, which means your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make with it.

The Crown[edit]

1st-level The Lamb Patron feature

Your patron gives you a crown, a replica of his own, to wear. This crown serves as your arcane focus, and while you are wearing or wielding it, your AC is equal to 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier, if you are not wearing any other armor. You gain this benefit even if you are wielding a shield.

Your crown can also take the form of a weapon, but it must be a weapon with which you are proficient. If you have the pact of the blade, your crown is eligible for that pact.

Blessings from the God of Death[edit]

6th-level The Lamb Patron feature

You gain resistance to necrotic damage, also you, as well allies within 15 feet of you, gain a bonus to melee damage rolls equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of +1). A creature can benefit from this feature from only one warlock at a time.

Do not Fear the Death[edit]

10th-level The Lamb Patron feature

You and your allies have Immunity to the Frightened condition while within 15ft of you. If a Frightened ally enters gets in the range, that condition has no effect on that ally while there.

Avatar of The Lamb[edit]

14th-level The Lamb Patron feature

Your affinity with your patron increases. As an bonus action, you can assume a form which represents your patron. Your appearance becomes that of a reaper, adorned with symbols representing the lamb. For 1 minute you gain the following abilities:

● You gain resistance to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage from nonmagical sources.

● You gain immunity to necrotic damage.

● When an enemy deals damage to you, they must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell save DC. If they fail, they will be frightened until the end of your next turn. This effect can only happen once per creature turn.

● You ignore resistance to necrotic damage and treat immunity as if it were resistance.

Once you use this feature, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
