The Floridian[edit]

Warlock Subclass

Your patron is identified only in their origin, the mysterious realm of Florida. No one knows– correction, no one has tried to know, to learn of the nature of this Florida. Their power is boosted by nature, yet they posses power which could destroy the very nature it seems to originate from.

Floridian Expanded Spells
Spell Level Spells
1st animal friendship, burning hands
2nd crown of madness, scorching ray
3rd fireball, stinking cloud
4th freedom of movement, giant insect
5th banishing smite, flame strike
Crackhedonism

Starting at 1st level, when you kill a creature, you can consume some of its flesh to gain temporary Hit Points equal to your Charisma modfier plus your Warlock level.

Chaotic Willpower

Starting at 6th level, by sheer force of will, boosted by your patron's power, you can alter fate in your favor. When you make an ability check or a saving throw, you can add a d10 to your roll. You can do this after seeing the initial roll, but before learning of whether you pass or fail. You can use this feature once per short or long rest.

Cracked

Starting at 10th level, you can choose one damage type when you finish a short or long rest. You gain resistance to that damage type until you choose a different one with this feature. Damage from magical weapons ignores this resistance.

A Trip to Disney World

Starting at 14th level, when you hit a creature with an attack, you can use this feature to instantly transport the target to Disney World. The creature disappears and hurtles into the chaotic landscape, suffering through the yells of children and complaining adults. At the end of your next turn, the target returns to the space it previously occupied, or the nearest unoccupied space. If the Target is not a Floridian or a subject of one, it takes 10d10 psychic damage as it reels from the chaos that now inhabits their mind. Your DM may deem it acceptable that tormented creatures should roll on the Madness table. You can use this feature once per long rest.
