The world of Maluum[edit]

(Disclaimer: this campaign setting makes lots of things VERY strong, its strictly designed to have the most epic fights I can think of. You'll be fighting and killing god-like entities late-enough-game! Players can level up to lvl:60. And there is plenty of anime/video-game inspired content in here so you will see a lot of that.)

Knights, dragons, wizards, magic, etc..., these all grant us images of a beautiful fantasy world. Rife with adventure, excitement, and wonder. This is how the world was supposed to be. The gods had decided it so, they wanted a world of light, called Maluum, for all to live life on. The gods governed Maluum with their light. Life and death were monitored and controlled by the gods, and all was as fate ordained it. Until one day. On midwinter's day, the weaves of the arcane itself ruptured and the sky was cleaved in two with a blast of unrivaled magic power. The heavens were consumed with this unholy light, and most of the the gods perished. This event, now kwon as the cataclysm, marked the beginning of a new age. The gods that did survive the event were severely depowered and went into hiding, fearing those who would try to usurp their throne. Ever since the cataclysm, the multiverse has been an uncontrolled place, where chaos and order clash in a never-ending war.

None is as it should be.

Destiny is dead.

The light was never lost.

It only made the shadows darker.
