These wielders of Astral magic often fit into their patron's grand design.

Warlock Subclass

Your patron is a powerful entity from the vast space above. Dwelling amongst the stars, they may be a mighty Void Lord of the Astral Plane, or a creature as old as time itself, bound to the confines of the limitless Æther, needing a vessel to fulfill its bidding.

Warlocks of the Ætheric look to the stars to learn the secrets of their master's power, and patrons may be of any alignment.

Expanded Spell List[edit]

The Ætheric Patron lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Spell Level Spells
1st void burst, identify
2nd void rupture, blur
3rd void bombard, void blink
4th ætheric ballista, ætherstorm
5th telekinesis, ætheric aura

Astral Fate[edit]

At level 1, when you reduce a hostile creature to zero HP, you gain a +2 bonus to the next attack roll, saving throw, or ability check that you make within the next minute.

Void Drain[edit]

Starting at 6th level, you can retaliate against melee attackers with ætheric energy. When a melee attack is made against you, you can use your reaction to deal force damage equal to your warlock level, and gain that number as temporary hit points. You must complete a short rest to use this ability again.

Starveiled[edit]

Beginning at 10th level, you gain resistance to force damage. You also gain a bonus to your Armor Class, and Saving Throws against spells equal to your Charisma modifier (min. +1).

Astral Summon[edit]

At 14th level, you gain the power to bend the cosmos to summon your enemies. As an action, a targeted creature within 50 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. On a failure, they take 10d10 force damage and are teleported instantly to another unoccupied space that you can see within 50 feet you. On a success, they take half damage. You must complete a long rest to use this feature again.
