Tartarus[edit]

Tartarus is said to be hell beneath the Underworld itself, a place to act as a prison for those truly wicked to be receiving divine punishment just of the cruellest levels. Residents within can range from mortal men, gods who betrayed the heavens, titans who seek to destroy all of the world to the primoradial deities who created all the cosmos.

It is said that one must fall for over a great amount of time before they would reach the surface of Tartarus, being twice as far from the surface as it is for the surface to reach the heavens.

If sentenced to the deep abyss your soul shall remain there for all of eternity, though in few cases you may be pardoned and plucked out by the gods hands or in even fewer cases a soul may escape the unescapable. To prevent escape the pit is surrounded by three great walls each made from adamantine with turrets manned by sleepless guards and a great flaming river that streams fire.

Whilst it is possible for a living creature to survive in Tartarus, any food they consume will simply taste like ash and any water will burn their throats whilst drinking.
