Problems[edit]

Getting +1 caster level ever is extremely, extremely powerful. While it's probably not a big deal at level 1 where you can't abuse it yet, it can really become an issue later on. Consider how expensive all the caster level increasing items are, and how they don't stack together. Forgive my not-quite-persuasive argument here, it's late at night and I just noticed the feat.

The other problem I have is with the 8 HD feature. This is only really useful for Sorcerers...the people who you'd normally want to take this feat (wisdom casters) already know their entire spell list; knowing an additional spell is pointless. Surgo 02:29, 19 June 2009 (MDT)

Well, when I typed this up, I was kinda rushed, so I didn't exactly have time to think through everything, and was just essentially throwing things together that a caster would find useful. Looking back, I find myself trying to rethink some of these abilities. I'm probably going to change the "+1 CL" to "+1 to the DC's of spells that use your wisdom modifier for the save DC". Then change the 8 HD ability to be "You may use your wisdom modifier instead of your dexerity modifier for the purpose of initiative checks". → Rith (talk) 23:19, 20 June 2009 (MDT)
