CR and ECL[edit]

Alright, if you're so willing to delete it and undo all my hard work, I'll add the CR. ECL, I have no idea what it is. --LordInsanity 13:59, 5 August 2009 (MDT)

ECL. --Green Dragon 14:25, 5 August 2009 (MDT)

Delete Template[edit]

Alright. Stop putting the 'proposed for deletion' template up while I'm still working on it, ansd I'll stop removing it. --LordInsanity 23:35, 5 August 2009 (MDT)

That's NOT how it works. When it's finished, it can be removed. You can't just remove it yourself if you're working on it. If it's unfinished, it gets the template. Dragon Child 19:36, 7 August 2009 (MDT)
This is the first NPC I've created, so I don't want it to be deleted at all, because I'm still working on it. Get it? How would you like it if some idiot destroyed everything you were working on? --LordInsanity 04:04, 8 August 2009 (MDT)
Use TextEditor, Microsoft Word, Notepad, or Microsoft Excel. Hell, if half the incomplete ideas I had were floating around on the wiki, eh, let's just say it wouldn't be pretty. -- Jota 10:30, 8 August 2009 (MDT)
I'm not having it deleted, and that's that. --LordInsanity 07:38, 9 August 2009 (MDT)
You could always put it in a sandbox on your user page: Like Here. You can use that to work on half-baked stuff until it is finished. Whether or not this page gets deleted, however, is not entirely up to you. --Aarnott 08:27, 9 August 2009 (MDT)
I changed it to Template:Needsbalance. See below and please feel free to adress the problem there. --Green Dragon 04:28, 27 March 2010 (UTC)

Numbers not Working[edit]

Your numbers do not line up. For example, just from having a divine rank of 18, this guy should be having 46 AC at least, and that's before you calculated up the +45 dex bonus from the dex score of 100, and the +65 deflection bonus from the charisma score of 140, which would make it 156 easily before you add in magic items, armor, and the like, at which point it's easy to reach 170 AC. Next, you're skill bonuses should each be +39 at the very least, and thats with no ranks in that skill, and using a skill based off of your worst ability score. You have too few feats, you should have at least 32. You should have at least 18 salient divine abilities too. That's all just from glancing at the page for a second. → Rith (talk) 12:40, 6 August 2009 (MDT)

Hmm, seems I was Incorrect, the lowest skill check should be a +57, and that's based off of Strength, with no ranks in that skill. If this guy took full ranks in a int based skill (such as any knowledge skill), then it would easily be a +211 skill bonus (+98 from ranks, +95 from int mod, +18 from being a rank 18 diety), not that it would matter cause dieties of rank 11 or higher can take 20 on skill checks, or any given 'check' at all. This guys Int score is high enough to have maximum ranks in every single skill and know every single language, so, why does he not? AC does not line up. Why does he not get bonus hp from his con score? His LOWEST save should be +94, his highest should be +139. You need to list all feats the guy has, regardless of whether they're prerequisite feats to one you already listed. How does he cast epic spells without Epic Spellcasting? If he has max ranks in the necessary skills (which he does, considering he has max ranks in EVERY skill), then he should have 9 epic spells. Initiative +12 when he's got 100 dexterity?! That doesn't even make sense. He should be getting bonus spells/day based off his int score of 200, letting him easily have 24 first, second, and third level spells, 23 fourth, fifth, six, and seventh levels spells, and 22 eighth and ninth level spells before he counts in his spells from being a wizard, and thats just from being a wizard. Next you have to calculate in Sorcerer spells, giving him another huge list. On top of that, if this guy is intelligent (Int 200, I think he ought to be), he'd take Divine Spellcasting as a salient ability, allowing him 19 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th level spells, 18 14th, 15th, 16th, and 17th level spells, 17 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st level spells, 16 22nd, 23rd, 24th, and 25th level spells, 15 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th level spells, 14 30th, 31st, 32nd, 33rd, and 34th level spells, 13 35th, 36th, 37th, and 38th level spells, 12 39th, 40th, 41st, and 42nd level spells, 11 43rd, 44th, 45th, and 46th level spells, 10 47th, 48th, 49th, and 50th level spells, 9 51st, 52nd, 53rd, and 54th level spells, 8 55th, 56th, 57th, and 58th level spells, 7 59th, 60th, 61st, and 62nd level spells, 6 63rd, 64th, 65th, and 66th level spells, 5 67th, 68th, 69th, and 70th level spells, 4 71st, 72nd, 73d, and 74th level spells, 3 75th, 76th, 77th, and 78th level spells, and 2 79th, 80th, 81st, and 82nd level spells. This guy could heighten a spell to 82nd level, and have it have a save DC of 187, and thats only if he doesn't feel like maximizing, quickening, persiting, or intensifying it. This guy is obviously not going to be CR 45. He has 95 levels in classes that have d4 HD, yet he only has 20 HD? Why are they d10's at that?! I don't know what you're doing with this guy, but you need to do it better. → Rith (talk) 03:25, 7 August 2009 (MDT)

Delete Template[edit]

Ummm... what? First of all, this is playable, second of all that is not how the delete template should be used. Instead I am changing this to Template:Needsbalance. However even then I really don't think an NPC could ever need balance, as they can be as strong as you like and can be implemented situationally. Please respond to this, because I do not think it even warrants a needs balance template.

Oh and also, the CR is 95, not 45. Anyways, hopefully this can all be worked out. :) --Vrail 04:10, 15 June 2010 (UTC)
