Talk:Trebuchet (3.5e Creature)

why is this a creature and not just a siege weapon? also it says it counts as admantine. but its ammo still wouldn't. if the trebuchet rammed something it would count as admantine, but like an admantine bouw wouldn't change the ammo so why would this? it could be done, just word it different. but i think if its not truely a creature capable of independant actions it should totally be redone as a weapon.--Name Violation 14:16, 10 October 2009 (MDT)

I have done extensive edits to address the extremely valid issues that you pointed out. First and foremost, I removed everything a trebuchet is unable to do: Reflex saves, Will saves, grapple etc. I also removed the damage reduction, a trebuchet is made of normal wood and metals (usually iron or steel), so it wouldn't have any damage reduction - but it would have a hardness rating. I'll add the hardness rating after this. I also removed its attacks counting as adamantine, since they would only have that if using adamantine ammunition, which would be super expensive! --Darkzumi (talk) 03:19, 24 March 2016 (MDT)
