Talk:Keyblade Guardian (5e Class)

Why not have the Key armor be free to summon? If this is the paladin type class, you are punishing the player for wanting to wear the armor at all. Considering that the Warrior doesn't get much in the defensive abilities, it makes sense that they are focused on attack, but the Guardian shouldn't be forced to burn a spell slot just to summon the armor that is used for the main class and subclass abilities, especially when they are split between it, the normal spells, and the Zantetsuken ability. At the most make the armor cost an ability point, at the least make it free to wear. the character is going to treat it like Mage armor if they are intelligent anyway, and wear it around without concern for any potential downsides until it is gone. This effectively reduces the player down to 14 total spell slots at max level, less if they aren't level 20. They dont get the sustained damage out put compared to the Warrior, nor the maximum spells of the Mystic, nor the Short rest Coffeelock styling of the Empty Being.
