Some Thoughts[edit]

Maybe they should have the Ooze keyword, and instead of being Amphibious, they could have blindsight or tremorsense. That just seems more in line with the MM entry for Oozes.

Example changes:

  • Ooze Spawn: Some of your ancestors were ooze life forms, so you have the ooze keyword and are considered an ooze creature for the purpose of effects that relate to creature origin.
  • Tremorsense: You have tremorsense 5.

Power Idea[edit]

Sorry for being a bug...but I was thinking about the Discorporation power, and while I see what the idea is, I think a simpler power may work a little better. This is what I was thinking:

Flowing Form Half-Ooze Racial Power
Your gelatinous body recoils from danger.
Immediate Reaction Personal
Trigger: When missed by any attack.
Effect: You may shift 2 squares.
Special: At Paragon levels you may shift 3 squares. At Epic levels you may shift 4 squares.

Thunder Resistance???[edit]

Why did you change out Acid Resitance for Thunder Resistance? The Acid Resistance makes sense, as all Oozes have it, but Thunder Resistance dosen't seem to fit. -- Sepsis 10:09, 17 November 2008 (MST)


I've been gone for a long time, and I saw that the original homebrew I left here was changed quite a bit with no discussion. Could somebody explain the reasoning behind the changes?
