Talk:Gambler (3.5e Prestige Class)

Rating - 6/10[edit]

I gave this prestige class a 6/10 because it is clear and balanced EXCEPT for one sizable problem. There is no weak save. It is catered toward the rogue base class and rogues actually have 2 weak saves, fort and will. Given the sacrificed sneak attack it seems justifiable to give 2 good saves but NOT all three. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 67.41.246.152 (talkcontribs) 17:29, 22 September 2007 (MDT). Changes[edit]

It is a fantastic role-play class, but I think it's a bit underpowered when it comes to combat uses of class specials. And "Bastard's luck" is a 50/50 chance so It's basically as not having it at all. Maybe a bit of modification to the percentage? -- X 15:11, 23 September 2007 (MDT)X

Feel free to change it. However, if you end up changing it a lot, please change the author thing to say this was inspired by the author... --Green Dragon 18:30, 23 September 2007 (MDT)

If the cards are an exotic weapon, should the PrC not grant Exotic Weapon Proficiency: Throwing Cards (Or the like) as a bonus feat? Also, there are quite a lot of spelling and grammatical errors.
