A master thrower in a rogue-based game I play in has a ball with these things, typically using them to disable City Watch soldiers in pursuit of the party. The whole "two weapons thrown at once" trick comes in handy for upping the DC. Atypicaloracle 21:35, 21 September 2010 (MDT)
