Halp![edit]

Please suggest changes to the class. I've been told it's kinda bad (seeing as so many things have Fire Resistance among others), so suggestions to improve its underpoweredness would be very nice. Thank you! --For Valor 17:43, 12 July 2009 (MDT)

Well, it's not, really, that I've found. With the Fire specialization, it emulates all spell-like abilities beget by the class into Hellfire, Divine fire, or Plasma Fire, which all bypass fire resistance, to my knowledge. The Ignite Weapon, Ignite Others, and Sphere Access might be somewhat debatable, but considering the class is based off of the ability to set things of fire, I'm inclined to believe that most if not all of them are included in the specialization. Sphere Access[edit]

Sorry if it's a little noobish, but what the hell does basic/expert access to a sphere mean in the context of this class? I've done a couple of searches on the subject, and can't find any explanation. 67.32.153.57 18:27, 4 August 2009 (MDT)

Sphere restrictions[edit]

It seems a little strange to me that the Flame Crusader picks either either fire or pyre (that part makes sense), but then only specializes in that one sphere. And he can't pick it if he already has just basic access to it. And then suddenly if he already has both on just basic access (which could be done with just 3 levels of Conduit of the Lower Planes), the Flame Crusader class lets him pick any sphere he doesn't know and upgrade that to expert access through this class? it just seems a little off to be so restrictive in initial selection, then if he has just basic in both prior to this class that he gets free reign with 1 new sphere of his choice.

my suggestion to fix this is to simply let the Flame Crusader to initially pick either the Fire or Pyre sphere, and then choose to attain the next level of access to either of those at the 5th and 9th levels at his discretion. but if at any point he had expert access in both of those spheres, but would gain another sphere through this class, then he gets free reign over sphere selection.--Azerinth 13:26, 19 March 2010 (UTC)

Flaming Body missing[edit]

In the Level chart, for 10th level there is something called "Flaming Body" but below there is nothing by that name has been listed. Instead i find "Fire Shield" being gained at the 10th level. you need to get the names straight, which way i don't really care, but make up your mind as to what it's called.--Azerinth 13:30, 19 March 2010 (UTC)
