Talk:Expansion of the Body (5e Feat)

Balance[edit]

  • If you're a monk, this feat more than doubles your current Ki points. That alone is beyond the power a feat should give, and is far too narrow an effect by 5e feat standards. On top of that it literally DOUBLES your damage output as a monk.
  • If you aren't a monk, you get all the best features of being a monk. This one mere feat is arguably better than taking an archetype, especially if you have Extra Attack.
  • These are smaller issues, but class features aren't feats; and requires attunement to eye of expansion doesn't make contextual sense.

This is way, way too much for a feat. I would say it's too much for an epic boon. It's in the realm of an entire class archetype. - Guy (talk) 08:31, 8 September 2017 (MDT)
