Talk:Defensive Study (3.5e Feat)
From D&D Wiki
This feat require three rounds of combat to use. That overhead is so large that no fighter, let along any other class, would bother to take the feat. I suggest the following: "You my use this feat against any creature that has attacked in this combat." This way, the fighter is able to recognize the creature's attack style and then prepare for it.
More so, I would just give this as a "substitute Int for Dex bonus for melee AC". Dex limitations due to armor apply to the Int bonus." --Dmilewski 19:03, 16 June 2007 (MDT)
