Talk[edit]

This a very sweet Epic Prestige Class. I would acually play this. One fix though. Battle Prowess grants two Improved abilities, Impv Evasion and Impv Uncanny Dodge. Your already 20th level so I don't even care about the weaker two. This might be the only thing that irked me. Its too strong. If I was a DM, I would tell you to cut it in half or sub it out. Otherwise, nice work.

Oh, and why is Impv Feint on the Prereq list? I understand all the other reqs but this one. --129.123.252.131 22:15, 20 October 2009 (MDT)

Improved Feint is on the Prerequisite list because a Battle Master uses all skills available to him to fight with, that's why Bluff is listed as a class skill: so you can effectively use feint in battle.

How about this as a replacement for Battle Prowess: While in combat a Battle Master is hard to stop. As long as the Battle Master is in battle he gets +3 to all rolls. --John Rogers
shouldn't this use epic sve and bab progression, not normal since its an Epic class?--Name Violation 20:06, 22 October 2009 (MDT)
No, this is a prestige class, there is a difference. An epic class is where a single class of a character advances beyond level 20. A prestige class is where you meet the requirements to be able to
 get as a secondary class.

but if you HAVE to be a lvl 20 fighter, you cant take this pre-epic. you cant get a bab above 20, ect. it should have epic save/dab progression. like other epic prestige classes. --Name Violation 02:54, 25 October 2009 (MDT)

Oh, I see what your saying. I wont make the changes you are talking about because you can do that on your own very easily. For every level past 20th you get +1 to your BaB and then for every 2nd level past 20th
you get +1 to your base Fortitude Save, Reflex Save and Will save. Simple as that.

but the table presented can never be used, since you will be epic when you take this. why do they exist then? since you will be an epic fighter taking this, you can never get a +2 to fort save (ect) from the class. --Name Violation 15:52, 25 October 2009 (MDT)

You will still get the epic bonuses whether your a 21st level fighter or a 20th level fighter and 1st level Battle Master. Regardless of what class or classes you are, you will still get the epic bonuses.

Question (posed by Mr.IcedTea): If some one rolls a natural 20 for initiative, does it override the Battle going first?
