Shadow Domain (5e Subclass)

The Shadow Clerics of Ravenloft, deep within the Shadowfell, cannot hold back the tide of undeath that spreads from the plane of shadows. While these clerics place value on life, they believe that the crossing from the realm of the living to that of death is a sacred process. The Clerics of Ravenloft harbor a special hatred for those who would subvert death and pervert the natural order. The Raven Queen’s chosen, they are her will incarnate upon the Prime Material.

At 1st level, you gain proficiency in the Deception skill, and expertise with the Stealth skill.
Channel Divinity: Shadow of Nightmare
Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to harness the bridge between life and death, banishing light and dealing psychic damage to your foes. As an action, you present your holy symbol, and any magical light within 30 feet of you is dispelled. Additionally, each hostile creature within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. A creature takes psychic damage equal to 3d6 + your cleric level on a failed saving throw, and half as much damage on a successful one. A creature that has total cover from you is not affected.
Beginning at 6th level you gain a deeper understanding on the transition between life and death, the healing spells you cast on others heal you as well. When you cast a spell of 1st level or higher that restores hit points to a creature other than you, you regain hit points equal to 2 + the spell's level.
This allows you to summon a Shadow to your side to aid in combat. Normal Fiends include wolves, bears, panthers, etc. but is up to the DM. The summoning has the same guidelines as the spell find steed
Starting at 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cantrip.
At 14th level, your attunement with the realm of shadows gives you the ability to step from one shadow to the next via the Shadowfell. When you are in dim light or darkness, as a bonus action you can teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in dim light or darkness.
Channel Divinity: Dark Vampiric Embrace
At 17th level, you can manipulate divine energy to mark the last days of your enemies. When an enemy creature within 30 feet of you is hit by a weapon attack, you can activate channel divinity as a reaction to deal extra radiant or necrotic damage equal to 2d8 + twice your cleric level. This aura lasts for 1 minutes and the extra damage can be repeated for the duration and you can apply this damage once per target per round. You may use this power after you hear if the creature survived the attack.
