School of Voodoo[edit]

Wizard Subclass

The wizard that deals with Voodoo has a vast knowledge of the workings of a soul and how it affects certain things. Voodoo magic is one of the more sinister aspects of magic since it focuses on bringing harm in many forms.

Soul link

At 2nd level you gain the ability to bind the soul of a creature to your body. As a bonus action target one creature that you can see within 90 ft. for the next 10 minutes every time you take damage the creature has to succeed on a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or it takes the same amount of psychic damage. You can chose to turn this ability off. You can use it twice per long rest but cant have more than one creature affected at the same time by this ability.

Animate Voodoo doll

At level 6 you have researched so much about the soul that you can make an weak artificial soul and bind it to a Voodoo doll. As an action you can bring the Voodoo doll to life. The doll's size is small and has HP=to twice your Wizard level, AC=10+your spell casting modifier, walking speed of 20 ft. All its stats are equal to 14 and you can verbally command it on your turn to move or make a melee unarmed strike dealing 2d10 psychic damage. The doll lasts up to an hour after which it dies and turns to dust. You can use this feature once per day. At level 10 the doll deals an extra 1d10 psychic damage.

Soul binding

At level 10 you gain the ability to conjure chains that bind the soul of your enemies. As an action chose up to three creatures you can see within 60 ft. each creature makes a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC on a failure their speed drops to 0 and are Incapacitated for 1d4 turns. You can use this feature twice per day.

Copy soul

At level 14 you have mastered the soul and can make an almost perfect copy. You can cast Simulacrum without expending a spell slot or material components and the casting time for it when you use this feature is 6 hours. The duplicate made through the use of this feature can only exist for 24 hours before is dies. You can use this feature once per 1d4 long rests.
