This rune causes your strikes to ring deep through a targets body, causing 1d6 points of sonic damage per level (to a max of 8d6) upon a successful hit, and in addition gains 1d6 more points of sonic damage if other sonic spells or abilities are used prior to this rune, and within 30 feet of this rune to a maximum of 5d6 bonus points of sonic damage.

Upon being hit a creature may attempt a fortitude saving throw to take half damage.

Note: This rune does not stack with other runes of the same energy type. If a stronger rune is applied with the same magic damage type its effects overwrite this runes effect. The affects of this rune will stack with a weapons innate spell ability (sonic) for purposes of sonic damage totals.
