This spell protects the caster should they begin to weaken. This spell, usually cast at the beginning of the day, comes into effect when the caster is severely damaged enough to fall below 50 hit points or to take enough ability damage to bring that ability score below 8. It instantly provides a +4 magical armor enhancement bonus and a +10 insight bonus to the caster's Armor Class, neither of which can be bypassed by an incorporeal touch attack, immediately after the single attack that caused the damage is resolved. This effect and the contingency effect end 24 hours after the casting of the spell (not when the contingency trigger was set off but rather when the spell was cast to set up the contingency trigger).
