Reforger[edit]

Whether they were a smith in a small village that was attacked by soldiers, or a merchant selling weapons that was attacked between towns, many Reforgers have some sort of reason to want to destroy the weapons in the hands of the enemy. They decided to better learn the weak points of the weapons they used to work closely with, and use that knowledge to destroy as many as they can. Only after they have done so will the remake them for the hands of the good.

Making a Reforger[edit]

Abilities: Strength is the most important ability for Reforgers as it helps to increase their odds of a successful Sunder attempt. Intelligence is the Second most important to help with any Craft and Appraise checks to forge, reforge and identify the weapons they want to make and destroy.

Races: Dwarves are likely the most common amongst Reforgers.

Alignment: All.

Class Features[edit]

Improved Sunder A Reforger gains Improved Sunder as a bonus feat at 1st level even if he does not meet the prerequisites for it.

Critical Sunder A Reforger has gone through extensive training to maximize his sundering capabilities. Beginning at 3th level, Reforgers deal an additional 1d4 damage when they attempt to sunder an opponent's item, this damage increases to 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 8, 4d4 at level 10 and 5d4 at 12th level.

Combat Brute Beginning at 6th level, a Reforger gains Combat Brute as a bonus feat even if he does not meet the prerequisites for it.

Follow Through Beginning at level 6, when a Reforger successfully destroys an opponent's weapon the attack follows through and hits the enemy wielding it. That enemy takes the full damage that was dealt in the sunder attempt.

Intimate Understanding After much time spent examining weapons, Reforgers are better at repairing weapons. As a full round action a Reforger may fully repair a single weapon that he has broken. This requires a craft check with a DC of 25.

Clean Break Beginning at 10th level, Reforgers have honed their knowledge of the various techniques used to make the weapons he breaks. When a Reforger breaks a weapon he gains a +2 bonus to any craft or appraise check involving that particular type of weapon for 1 week.

Mystical Understanding Reforgers spend much of their time examining weapons and developing ways to make them even better. Beginning At 12th level, they are able to repair magical weapons and keep the enchantment intact. In addition when a Reforger successfully breaks a magical weapon they can prevent the explosion with a successful craft check of DC 20 plus the weapon's equivalent enchantment level.

Masterful Craftsman At 15th level, Reforgers are able to take 10 on any craft check they make as long as they have ranks in that craft skill.

Legendary Sunder Beginning at 18th level, Reforgers are capable of Sundering and repairing Legendary weapons.

Masterful Repair The epitome of their training, the Reforger has perfected his techniques for forging and reforging weapons. Beginning at 20th level, the Reforger becomes capable of enhancing the weapons he repairs with an equivalent of +1. This could be a +1 enhancement, or an enchantment.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Proficient in all bludgeoning weapons, and all armor and shields (including tower shields).
