Mana Core: Sentient Magma Aspect. When struck with a melee attack, roll 1d6. On a 5–6, attacker takes 2d10 fire damage as lava sprays.

Eruption Step. Wherever the Tyrant moves, the terrain behind becomes molten, dealing 1d6 fire damage to any creature entering or ending its turn in its trail.

Magma Flow. Once per turn when it hits with an attack, it may spend 3 MP to cause lava to flow from the wound: the target takes 1d8 fire damage at the start of each turn for 3 rounds.

Minor Spellcasting. Can cast spells up to 6 difficulty.

Actions

Obsidian Slam. Melee Weapon Attack: +10 to hit, reach 10 ft Hit: 24 (3d10 + 7) bludgeoning + 2d6 fire. Creatures on lava or scorched terrain must make a DC 19 Strength save or be knocked prone.

Volcanic Grasp (Recharge 5–6). Two magma arms erupt from the ground beneath a target within 60 ft. Target must make a DC 19 Dex save or take 8d8 fire damage and be restrained for 2 round.

Battlefield Action: Magma Detonation

Tell (End of Turn): The Pyroclast begins to glow molten red, steam rising in rapid bursts. Its maw cracks open with lava.

Trigger (Start of Next Turn): Detonates a magma core in a 30 ft explosion of fire and stone:

Creatures in the area must make a DC 18 Dex save or take 10d10 fire damage + 5d10 bludgeoning and be knocked 20 ft back.

On a success, take half damage and no knockback.

Lava pools cover the blast radius for 2 rounds, dealing 3d6 fire to creatures ending their turn there.

Counter Options:

Interrupt: A creature with Magma affinity can succeed a DC 20 Arcana check to discharge the build-up by targeting the Guardian with a spell that disrupts magical buildup.

Mitigate: Stay outside the explosion.

Control: If the Pyroclast is reduced to 0 MP or takes 20+ cold damage before its turn, the core destabilizes and fizzles out.


Core Drop: 20% for the core to survive the death of the monster, if it does not survive it shatter, it pushes anyone who is in 5 ft of it 5 ft back and makes them prone. Anyone who is in 5 ft from the core on shattering regains half of the max MP the core has and anyone in 10 ft a quarter.

Sentient Core: 20% for the core to have the beast's will in it.
