Pseudodragonborn, Variant (5e Race Variant)

Dragonborn Variant

Much as one could compare in terms of height a human to a halfling, one could compare the stature of a dragonborn to their pseudodragonborn cousins.

Ability Score Improvement. Your Dexterity score increases by 2, and your Charisma score increases by 1.

Size. Most pseudodragonborn are about 4 feet tall and weigh about 60 pounds. Your size is Small.

Speed. Your speed is 30 feet.

Tail Sting. You have a poisonous stinger on the end of your tail, which you can use to make unarmed strikes. If you hit with it, you deal piercing damage equal to 1d4 + your Strength modifier, instead of the bludgeoning damage normal for an unarmed strike, and if the target is a creature, it must succeed on a Constitution saving throw with a DC equal to 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus or become poisoned until the end of its next turn.

Damage Resistance. You have resistance to poison damage.

Limited Telepathy. You can magically communicate through simple ideas, emotions, and images telepathically with any creature within 60 feet of you that can understand a language.
