Path to Perfection (5e Subclass)
The path to perfection[edit]
Monk Subclass
Through your quest for peace and mastery, you advance more precisely in the use of Ki. Thus, you are able to achieve true perfection.
- Way of the Mastered Fist
Starting at 3rd level, you can use your ki to enhance your fist control. You can use 1 ki point. Until the beginning of the next round, you have advantage over all your attacks. Additionally, you can substitute wisdom for your dexterity on your attack roll. Starting at 12th level, you add both modifiers.
- Way of the Mighty Fist
Starting at 3rd level, hitting something hardens your fist. Your damage increases to 1d6. This number increases to 1d8 at 5th level, 1d10 at 11th level, and 1d12 at 17th level. In addition, you can modify your Dex damage bonus to choose Wisdom. Starting at 12th level, you add your two modifiers.
- Body controlled
Starting at 6th level, you can use one ki point to strengthen your body. You gain resistance to all damage except force damage until the end of your next turn. You can use a reaction or action to activate it.
- Skill mastered
Starting at 11th level, you can copy the magical effects of objects you touch. For 1 hour, by replacing a short rest or using 1 hour of a long rest, you commune with a magical object. You know all the characteristics of the object and its mode of operation, you obtain one of its properties of your choice for yourself. These can be activated or charge effects, effects that boost your damage, AC, +1/+2/+3, mobility, senses... The chosen effects are cumulative (example: one effect adds 1d4 of fire damage and another 1d6 of cold damage, which makes a bonus of 1d4+1d6 and two property slots used). You can copy a number of properties equal to your wisdom mod. If you already had a number of properties equal to your wisdom mod, choose a known property and replace it with the new one. The magical effects persist indefinitely until you end them.
- Reality Breaking Fist
Starting at 17th level, you have reached the apotheosis of your mastery of this art. You can use 4 ki points to launch a strike that transcends human limits. As a free action, this allows you to strike a target without it being able to react or defend itself. In addition, this strike is so powerful that it will automatically be a critical hit and will deal maximum damage. However, in exchange for this strike, you suffer 1 level of fatigue. You can, however, use 2 points to remove this level of fatigue.
