Ki'seichuu[edit]

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet."

Ki'seichuu is a monk fighting style in which the manipulation of ki is the main aspect. Monks trained in this style recognize that ki is just magic energy with a different name. They manipulate ki through metamagic feats in order to increase the effectiveness of ki.

1st-Level Skill Bonus: Spellcraft.

1st-Level Feat: Empower Spell. All damage dealt as ki strikes by a monk are multiplied by 1-1/2.

2nd-Level Feat: Reach Spell. Ki can be shot out of the monk's fists to a maximum range of 30 ft. Treat this as a ranged version of your normal unarmed strike.

6th-Level Feat: Widen Spell. Does not stack with Reach Spell. See Bonus Ability.

6th-Level Bonus Ability: Juujitsushita. A monk who has completed his Ki'seichuu training can now produce a 60 ft x 10 ft ki beam from his hand as a full-round action. You make a single attack roll for all hits by Juujitsushita. The Juujitsushita beam does damage equal to an empowered version of your highest unarmed attack bonus (flurry of blows, unarmed damage dice, etc are included) to all creatures in the path of the beam (Reflex DC 15 + Wis modifier halves).

For example, a 10th level unarmed monk would roll a single die for the attack roll of Juujitsushita. Including flurry of blows and unarmed damage dice, Juujitsushita would look similar to this: 7 + Str Modifier ranged [(3d10 + Str modifier) x 1-1/2].

You must wait one minute before using Juujitsushita again. Juujitsushita can be used up to 1 + Wis or Con modifier (whichever's higher) times per day.

Prerequisites: Knowledge(arcana) 8 ranks, Spellcraft 4 ranks, Ki strike.
