Naga-Blooded[edit]

<Ranger> Subclass

As a ranger, you possess a deep magical connection with the natural world. A magical force has snaked its way into you blood, beginning to transmute it and infuse with its strength. Naga Blood is the same that runs through all serpentine and venomous creatures, and now that venom and strength is beginning to run through your own veins.

Naga-Blooded Spells

Also at 3rd level, you learn an additional spell when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown in the Naga-Blooded Spells table. Each spell counts as a ranger spell for you, but it doesn't count against the number of ranger spells you know.

Naga-Blooded Spells
Ranger Level Spells
3rd Level Cause Fear
5th Level Invisibility, Acid Arrow
9th Level Hypnotic Pattern, Fear
13th Level Confusion, Vitriolic Sphere
15th Level Anti-Life Shell
Naga Ammunition

From 3rd level, your blood is infused with the naga power, and you learn to draw your own blood to coat your arrows or bolts in deadly poisons. As a ritual, you may coat a number of ammunition for a ranged weapon equal to 10 + your Con modifier. That new naga ammunition now deals an additional 1D6 + your proficiency bonus poison damage. The ritual takes 30 minutes to complete and can be done an amount of times equal to your proficiency bonus each Long Rest.

Venom Blood

From 7th level, your blood is even more infused with venom. You gain resistance to poison damage and immunity to being poisoned.

Additionally, as a bonus action, when you are below max hit points you may coat a melee weapon with some of your blood, and the next attack made with that weapon deals an additional 1D6 + your Con modifier in poison damage.

Coiled Strike

From 11th level, you've learned how to seize the perfect opportunity in a fight, and strike with speed and power. When making an attack as a reaction, you have advantage on that attack, and can add both your Dex and Str modifier to the hit and damage rolls.

Blood of the Naga

From 17th level, your blood has been so infused with naga blood that you have become more serpentine and possess a new strength. You gain advantage on all Str saving throws and Athletics ability checks. When you are unarmoured or wearing light armour, you may add 1 + your Con modifier to your AC.

In addition, the additional damage from the Venom Blood and Naga Ammunition features now uses 2D6 rather than 1D6.
