Moral Anti-Realism (5e Background)

From D&D Wiki

Stub Logo.png This page is incomplete and/or lacking flavor. Reason: This is just a personal philosophy. That alone does not a background make. It says nothing about what your character did before adventuring. Furthermore, 5e already has 2 different alignments for creatures that do not choose Good or Evil: "unaligned" and "neutral". The "ascended" alignment is pointless.

Moral Anti-Realism[edit]

Ethical desicions and such are mere moral spooks to you. You have ascended beyond such petty values, be it Good, Neutral, Evil, Lawful or Chaotic, it is compeltely meaningless to you. Unfortunately your disregard for the constant battle for good and evil makes you a target to both due to mockery.

Skill Proficiencies: Insight and Perception

Tool Proficiencies: Those of Moral Anti-Realism are proficient with any one tool of their Choosing.

Languages: One of your Choosing.

Equipment: Common Clothes & a Leather Pouch with 25 gold.

Feature: Ascended beyond Morals[edit]

Your thinking is beyond the traditional moral and ethical values. You are unfazed by others actions of Good and Evil, and simply it doesnt matter to you if your action would be Evil or Good, as such you may set your Aligment as "Ascended" and keep it that way, ignoring any effects that may change it or ones that Require you to have a specific Aligment. Unfortunately this way of thinking does not go well with Religions, Clerics and Paladins.
