Mirror of Hope (Shinobi World Supplement)

From D&D Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Wondrous Item, Very Rare (requires attunement)

One of five full-length mirrors created decades before the modern shinobi world in order to seal away the Spirit Beast, the Five Mirrors of Hope are surrounded by metal, with each being either red, blue, yellow, green, and black, with nine tomoe adorning the metal, potentially linking it to the ancient Uchiha clan, or even Hagoromo himself.

As an action, a creature may set up a mirror, causing it to occupy a 5 foot cube that is 10 feet tall, facing one direction of the creature's choice that can be changed as a bonus action while touching it.

An attuned creature may pool their chakra into a set up mirror as an action for 2 chakra while touching it, forcing them to attempt a DC 16 Intelligence (Arcana) check. On a success, a 30 foot radius barrier is erected 35 feet from the mirror. Until the mirror is destroyed, any creature that is not a beast, humanoid, plant, or construct must attempt a DC 20 Strength saving throw any time they attempt to effect anything outside the barrier, including moving outside the barrier. On a failure, the effect fails and they take 1d12 + 3 radiant damage.

For every additional mirror targeting the same space, the saving throw's DC increases by 2.
