Heart of Darkness
Level: Crusader 8, Swordsage 8, Warblade 8
Type: Counter
Action: 1 immediate action
Prerequisite: 3 Heart of Darkness maneuvers
Description: If your opponent attempts to strike you on his turn, you can force your attacker to make a will save (DC18 + your Int modifier). On a successful save, the attack is resolved as normal. On a failed save, the attacker instead cowers in fear until just before the start of its next turn. You must decide whether to initiate this maneuver before you know the result of the opponent's attack (but after the attack is declared). In addition, the attacker takes 1d4 points of Wis damage if they fail their save
