Khorvaire Elf Paragon[edit]

Living among short-lived, ever-changing races such as humans and halflings, the elves of the Five Nations have learned to identify themselves more by nation and culture than by race. With a blend of the long-lived perspective common to other elves and the quick, adaptable nature of other races, these elves are equally capable of long-term planning and quick, decisive action. The elves of the Five Nations do not have the numbers or national unity of those form the nations of Valenar or Aerenal, yet they are the elves most commonly encountered by other races. Still, to this very day, many tales of ancient magic and elven wizardry exist in the myths and legends of these people. As such, many of the elves of Khorvaire seek to emulate their ancestoral mastery of the eldritch arts and those who do are seen as the quintessential paragons of those ancient ways.

Class Features[edit]

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Khorvaire elf paragons do not receive any additional proficiencies.

Spellcasting: At each level, you gain new spells per day and an increase in caster level (and spells known, if applicable) as if you had also gained a level in an arcane spellcasting class to which you belonged before adding the prestige class level. You do not, however, gain any other benefit a character of that class would have gained. If you had more than one arcane spellcasting class before becoming a paragon of the Khorvaire elves, you must decide to which class to add each level for the purpose of determining spells per day, caster level, and spells known.

Arcane Skill Trick: You may choose any of the following skill tricks per paragon level even if you do not otherwise meet the prerequisites: Collector of Stories, Conceal Spellcasting, False Theurgy, Magical Appraisal, or Swift Concentration. The following skill tricks are also available with the DM's permission: Alchemize, Dimensional Jump, and Switch Off Magic. In addition, you gain Arcane Thesis at 2nd level and Spell Penetration at 3rd level as bonus feats even if you do not otherwise qualify for them.

Eclectic Study: You may add one spell from another arcane spell list to your normal list of spells for each paragon level you possess. The spell must be of a level that you can normally cast, and it cannot be from a school that is otherwise prohibted from you.

Advanced Education: Your Intelligence score increases by +2.
