Scales.png This page is of questionable balance. Reason: Huge size is still problematic. You are thematically and mechanically ridiculous in size to maneuver and use items. The category is also still Large. The race gets too much, simply, with its Huge size.

Broom Icon.svg.png This page needs grammatical help. Reason: Race names are still not capitalized unless at the front of a sentence. Ability scores are also written out and linked, as are units of measurements.

Joryun[edit]

Physical Description[edit]

Joryun's art giants evolved from early humans, these creatures usually stand around 30-35ft tall and have larger builds on average. Joryuns are mostly solitary and keep a human-like nature, meaning they have the urges to keep to themselves and better themselves as a community. Because of their large forms, they are usually kept in early civilization stages due to their need for large amounts of food to keep their large builds up.

History[edit]

Joryuns were normal humans until a small portion became trapped on an island nation full of natural magic springs, these springs slowly seeped into their DNA until naturally mutating them into larger and larger forms. Discovered millions of years later by modern adventurers and shown to the rest of the world they are now only recently discovering other races and customs to others. Joryuns tend to stick with each other and not venter as they need lots of food so seeing a Joyrun adventurer is quite an uncommon sight.

Society[edit]

Joryun society consists of farming, gathering, hunting, and collecting. Most Joryuns tend to be nomadic and not stay in one place, villages are possible but only on large plains, anything short of this tends to not hold enough space for them. Men in the Joryun society will battle each other in various tasks in order to find who leads their village or tribe, women are also capable of competing but normally get outpaced by the men's competitors.

Joryun Names[edit]

Joryun names follow early human naming schemes so simple names that have no meanings but are easily said or understood are given, sometimes being named after people, objects, and events.
