Vanilla Items[edit]

Active Items[edit]
Items that can be activated rather than providing passive effects. Only one can be held at a time. Some require a certain amount of charges to activate. Charge is given either by using a Battery or by clearing a room. Long and short rests will fully charge your active items.
A Pony[edit]
2 Charges to Activate. Activated at will while riding.
A living horse head on a stick that can be ridden in the air with a a flying speed of 50ft. Does not need to be activated to fly. When activated for 5 seconds the rider becomes temporarily immune to all nonmagical damage and the rider’s AC is increased by 10. While in this state the pony can only move in one direction and moves with a flying speed of 65ft.
Anarchist Cookbook[edit]
3 Charges to Activate. Activated immediately upon opening the book.
A book that, when activated, launches six troll bombs in the direction the book was opened. If opened without charge simply acts as a regular book containing recipes for creating bombs.
Best Friend[edit]
3 Charges to Activate. Activated when doll is thrown.
Best Friend is a small doll that when thrown becomes a large dummy resembling a person, any creatures attacking or pursuing the user must make a Wisdom check (DC 8 + CHA Modifer). If they fail the check the user will become invisible to them and perceive the Best Friend as the user instead. After 5 seconds of being activated the Best Friend will violently explode, Each creature within 5 feet of the explosion must succeed on a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw or take 3d8 fire damage. After exploding the doll will regenerate and return to the user’s hand.
Blank Card[edit]
Variable Charges.
A blank card that when activated copies the effects card the user is currently holding, triggering the effect without consuming the card.
Blood Rights[edit]
0 Charges to activate, Activated immediately upon cutting the user.
The Blood Rights is a straight edge razor, it may be used for no action cost having the user cut their hand on the blade dealing one of their hit die to themselves and all hostile creatures either in the room or a 50feetcircle. releasing a shockwave in a 50 foot circle originated on the blade dealing 1d8 to all hostile creatures.
Bob’s Rotten Head[edit]
2 Charged needed to activate, Activated immedietaly upon collision
Bob's Rotten Head is a green head which has begun to decompose and rot, the user may activate the item for no action cost holding the head above their own. The user can use a bonus action to throw the head rolling a ranged attack roll and dealing 3d8 + your current tear dice in poison damage in a 5 foot circle, requiring a dc 15 Constitution saving throw gaining the poisoned condition and taking 1d8 at the start of their turns for a minute on a failure and no condition on a success. This bomb deals double damage to objects and is capable of opening secret rooms. After exploding the head will regenerate to the users hand
Book of Revelations[edit]
6 charges to activated, Activated immediately upon opening the book.
For no action cost you may open the book, the user will gain 12 temp Hit Points in the form of a soul heart. A side effect of opening the book is that the current boss of the floor will be replaced by a harbinger (link), if used outside of the basement then after 10 uses the book will summon a hostile harbinger. If opened without charge the book depicts the apocalypse seen through a vision by John of Patmos
A passive effect of having this book is that the chance for angel and devil deals to appear is increased
