Change local weather to some amount.
You can change the current weather around you in a way that is considered unusual, but not unnatural. Examples may be:
- Starting a thunderstorm while there is calm and sunny weather, but not starting a hurricane in the same condition.
- Starting a hurricane if there is already a storm.
- Heavy fog builds in not conflicting weather condition. Conflicting weather conditions would be a very low air moisture or medium (or stronger) winds.
- Starting a snow storm in temperate spring or autumn, but not in high summer.
- Calming down weather, that is changing it towards the typical weather condition for the area and season.
- Raising or lowering temperature to 25° C over or below the typical temperature of the area and season.
You have no control about the weather details. A thunderstorm may consist of just some dark clouds and a few rolls of thunder or may include heavy rain and lightning striking every few minutes. Heavy fog may reduce sight to 100 feet or 5 feet. A snow storm may be a stiff breeze with some snowflakes or fully grown blizzard. You can state your wishes, but the DM decides what happens.
After the spell is cast the weather changes to the new condition in about 10 minutes, then it stays so for 1 minute per caster level. After that time the DM decides what will happen. The weather may return to its previous state, continue for some more time, or do something completely different.
The spell's effects are stationary once cast, and do not move with the caster.
Casting this spell on an area, where another instance is already active, can counter the previous spell's effects, but not "increase" it, like raise the temperature by another 20° C or change the thunderstorm into a hurricane. Also this spell is not cumulative with other (short term) magical changes to the weather.
