Becoming a Healer[edit]

Skills: Knowledge (Nature) 8 ranks OR Knowledge (Religion) 8 ranks, Heal 8 ranks
Special: Must have had training in the healing arts by a cleric or a druid.

Class Skills (4 + Int modifier per level)

  • If Pact of Nature is chosen, the following are class skills: Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (nature) (Int), Listen (Wis), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Spellcraft (Int), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str)
  • If Pact of Divinity is chosen, the following are class skills: Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Diplomacy (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (history) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Knowledge (the planes) (Int), Profession (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int)

Class Features[edit]

All of the following are class features of the Healer.

Pact (Ex): When the Healer takes his first level into the class, he must make a pact in order to use his special abilities. A Healer gains a Pact level which is equal to her Healer level.

  • Pact of Nature: The Healer draws upon natural powers to heal the wounded. The Healer gains her Pact level as an Insight bonus on the Handle Animals and Knowledge (Nature) skills. If a Healer spends 1 hour in meditation in her designated "Sacred Area", she gains an additional Pact level for 24 hours.
  • Pact of Divinity: The Healer draws upon divine powers to heal the wounded. The Healer gains her Pact level as an Insight bonus on the Knowledge (Religion) and Knowledge (The Planes) skills. If a Healer spends 1 hour in meditation in a church designated to her God, she gains an additional Pact level for 24 hours.

Spell like Abilities (Sp): All spells cast by the Healer are cast as spell-like abilities. The caster level of the Healer is equal to 2 times the Healer's Pact level.

Cure Light Wounds (Sp): The Healer has the spell-ability to reproduce the (Cure Light Wounds) spell a number of times per day equal to her Pact level.

Cure Moderate Wounds (Sp): The Healer has the spell-ability to reproduce the (Cure Moderate Wounds) spell a number of times per day equal to her Pact level -1.

Cure Serious Wounds (Sp): The Healer has the spell-ability to reproduce the (Cure Serious Wounds) spell a number of times per day equal to her Pact level -2.

Cure Critical Wounds (Sp): The Healer has the spell-ability to reproduce the (Cure Critical Wounds) spell a number of times per day equal to her Pact level -3.

Heal (Sp): The Healer has the spell-ability to reproduce the (Heal) spell a number of times per day equal to her Pact level -4.
