♦ to be dark and different than most people.
♦ to be able to be a different person every day.
♦ to be a member of a race that favors the Bard, Sorcerer and Warlock classes.
In their natural forms, Half-Hags are of human height. they are slim, and even the strongest simply look athletic rather than muscle-bound. They have the same range of complexions as humans, though they are more often pale than dark or fair. their long, well-groomed hair is often silver, bright green, white or black though human colors are found as well. their ears can be pointed, but they are usually normal human ears. their eyes are human-like, although some have unusual colors like orange or purple. Half-Hags don't grow body or facial hair. Half Hag children grow more quickly than human children, reaching mental maturity at age 10 and physical maturity by age 15. Once they are older than 15, their aging slows down, allowing them to live up to 150 years.
Attitudes and Beliefs
Half Hags believes are hard to pin down, for they are not common but they generally are plagued with dreams from their Hag mothers, at least until they reach 26 years old. all their lives Half Hags have to fight the inner urge to turn to evil and do evil deeds. some turn to evil, like their Hag mothers, making the two rather the same. those who fight the urge, and become good, struggle throughout their lives against their nature but are considered not evil, entirely, by those around them.
Half Hag Adventurers
Three example half-hag adventurers are described below:
Dara is a Bard Half Hag, and she doesn't fight her nature or give in to it. she tries to live her life without care for her mother. She hides are nature by performing in towns, but uses her Hag magic to perform as a different person in every town.
Sol is a Sorcerer Half Hag, and a male one at that. He was never contacted by his mother but got more magic in his blood than normal. He uses his magic to help people, and tries to never use his Hag magic.
Myrah is a Warlock Half Hag, and she embraced her nature by the second visit of her mother, through dreams. by age 15, she made a pact with her mother for power, killed her father and used her deeper connection with her mother to become a Hag like witch, hurting people. after her mother was slain, her power stayed within Myrah and now she adventures, trying to find a new patron.
