AC 5; Fortitude 20, Reflex 2
Speed swim 6
Pilot
Effect: The pilot must stand at the ship’s wheel, typically at the rear of the topmost deck.
Crew
Effect: In addition to the pilot, a galleon requires a crew of seven, all of whom use a standard action each round to help control the ship. Reduce the ship’s speed by 2 for every 2 missing crew members. At swim speed 0, the ship sails out of control.
Load
Effect: Seventy five Medium creatures; fifty tons of cargo.
Out of control
Effect: An out-of-control galleon moves forward at half speed. At the DM's discretion, it can move at the same direction as strong wind at up to full speed.
Decks
Effect: The galleon has three decks: the topmost open deck (which includes the upper deck and quarter deck), one middle deck for crew, passengers and cannons, and a cargo hold.
Sails
Effect: At the DM's discretion, a galleon can take a penalty or bonus to its speed of -4 to +4 depending on the strength and direction of the wind.
Cannon Barrage (standard; at-will)
Effect: A galleon is equipped with twenty four cannons, twelve upon the port and starboard. A crew member can man one of the galleon's cannons to attack an enemy vessel: Ranged 10/20; +5 vs. AC; 1d10 + 3 damage. The crew member adds half his or her level as a bonus to the cannon's attack rolls. Reloading the cannon takes two rounds, unless two crew members are attending to the same cannon, in which case it only takes a single round.
