Dragon's Favored[edit]

This is a variant for the favored soul base class (Note: the WotC's favored soul class already has a similar variant, this is an improvement of that variant).

Similarly to other draconic classes, a favored of dragons admires the magical and physical power of dragons, and, through a draconic deity, gains a spark of their power in its spirit. Wielding this draconic flame their bodies and souls change in the shape of a dragon, gifting them with an energized breath, claws and arcane spells.

Class: Favored Soul In The Dungeon

Level: 1st

Special requirements: You must be dedicated to a draconic deity.

Replaces: If you select this class feature, you do not gain the Deity's weapon Focus feature at 1st level, nor you gain the Deity's weapon Specialization feature at 7th level and your Spiritual weaponry feature at 13th level. Your Channel divinity feature changes, as well as your Domain and Damage reduction. At 20th level you do not gain Divine self.

Benefit: You gain Knowledge (dungeoneering) as a class skill.

At 1st level you grow nails that give you natural weapons in the form of claws (1d6 points if you are Medium, 1d4 if you are Small, and 1d8 if you are Large, as a short sword of your size). As a full attack, you can make one primary natural attack with each of your two extremities, or you can make one secondary natural attack with one claw when attacking with a melee weapon. The claws are treated as magic weapons for the purpose of overcoming damage reduction.

In addition, you can choose from the sorcerer spell list (rather than a cleric spell) when you choose your 1st-level spells at first level. You may do it again at 7th and 13th level, choosing sorcerer's spells of any level you can cast. As long as the spells remain on your list of known spells, you can treat them as being on your class spell list for all purposes.

You also gain the Dragontouched feat as a bonus feat.

At 2nd level you gain Channel dragonpower: it functions as Channel divinity and all of its enhancements but you may not take the bonus to caster level and caster checks and instead gain the ability to use a breath weapon as a standard action. It may be a cone of 30 feet (9 meters) or a 60-feet (18 meters) line of fire, acid, cold or electricity. The Reflex save to half the damage has a DC equal to 10 + half your class level + your Charisma modifier.

Its damage adds up with any other breath weapon you may have (from race, class or templates) and you may now choose breath feats or be affected by spells that modify breath weapons. It deals 1d6 of damage at 2nd level, 3d6 at 8th, 5d6 at 12th and 7d6 at 16th level.

The AC bonus is now natural armor bonus instead of a sacred bonus.

At 4th level you gain the Dragon Domain or one domain of your draconic deity.

Your wings are draconic.

At 19th level you gain damage reduction 10/epic.

At 20th you gain Draconic self and gain the dragon type instead of the outsider's. You gain the same benefits except that instead of damage reduction you are immune to paralysis and magical sleep effects, as well as to the effects of frightful presence.
