Dungeon Maper[edit]

You live your life studying the layouts and locations of dungeons previously looted or in the moment of looting. You stood there as somewhat of a cartographer that never engaged to combat but watched from afar creating this mental map of all sorts of dungeons that you took part of in many parties as you hoped along party to party never sticking around if things got too boorish to your liking. As a dungeon mapper, how did you start this way, were you the son or daughter of a cartographer? Did you find it as a unique hobby growing up? Were you forced into mapping dungeons by a gang or guild? These questions can help flesh out your character.

Skill Proficiencies: Perception and History

Tool Proficiencies: Cartographer's Tools

Languages: Any singular language of your choice

Equipment: 10 parchment, a bottle of ink, an ink quill, An unfinished map of a dungeon you never got around to finish, and 2 gp

Knowledgeable Mapper[edit]

When you enter a dungeon for the first time, you may make a history check and beat a DC set by the dungeon master. If you pass the save, you remember a dungeon similar to the dungeon you are at and learn the number of rooms this dungeon has. This does not include hidden entrances or exits as well as hidden rooms.

Suggested Characteristics[edit]

The life as a dungeon mapper can either be a fun adventure or a chaotic one, maybe cocky one. This leads to the mapper developing certain traits that define their character.

d8 Personality Trait
1 I rather prefer mental maps over physical ones, leading other to doubt my defining features.
2 I am cocky in my ability to map the most dangerous maps.
3 Maps are my life; therefore, I tend to collect and keep all the maps I make.
4 I tend to piggyback off of other cartographer's work to fund my map creation.
5 I like to burn the maps I create after they are used so no one can gain the knowledge that I have.
6 I am usually always stuck up into my work leaving me naive to the most simplest requests.
7 I only give my respects to only those who amount to me.
8 I only keep one map that I deem to be my best map.
