Special Abilities[edit]

Breath Weapon (Su): At 1st level, the dragon lung gains the ability to use a breath weapon. Choose one of the following energy types: Fire, Cold, Acid, or Electricity. The breath weapon deals 1d6 points of damage per class level in a 30-foot cone. A Reflex save (DC 10 + half class level + Constitution modifier) halves the damage. The dragon lung can use this ability once per day at 1st level and an additional time per day at 3rd level and every two levels thereafter (3/day at 3rd, 4/day at 5th, and so on).

Draconic Resistance (Ex): At 2nd level, the dragon lung gains resistance to the energy type of their chosen breath weapon. They gain energy resistance equal to half their class level against that energy type (minimum 1).

Dragon Heritage (Ex): At 3rd level, the dragon lung's connection to dragons strengthens. They gain low-light vision and a +2 bonus to saves against sleep and paralysis effects.

Wings (Ex): At 4th level, the dragon lung develops wings, allowing them to fly at a speed equal to their base land speed with good maneuverability. If they already have wings (such as through a racial feature or other source), they gain a +10-foot bonus to their fly speed instead.

Dragon Scales (Ex): At 5th level, the dragon lung's skin toughens, providing a natural armor bonus to their AC equal to their Constitution modifier (minimum +1).

Improved Breath Weapon (Su): At 6th level, the dragon lung's breath weapon becomes more potent. Its damage increases to 2d6 points of damage per class level, and the Reflex save DC increases to 10 + class level + Constitution modifier.

Draconic Presence (Su): At 7th level, the dragon lung's presence begins to reflect their draconic heritage. They gain a +2 bonus to Charisma-based skill checks and Charisma checks.

Draconic Flight (Ex): At 8th level, the dragon lung's flight improves to perfect maneuverability.

Draconic Form (Ex): At 9th level, the dragon lung undergoes a transformation, assuming a more dragon-like appearance. This transformation is permanent and cannot be dispelled. They gain immunity to the energy type of their chosen breath weapon.

Mastery of Dragons (Su): At 10th level, the dragon lung becomes a true master of dragon abilities. Their breath weapon damage increases to 3d6 points of damage per class level, and the Reflex save DC increases accordingly. Additionally, they gain spell resistance equal to 10 + their class level against spells and abilities of the chosen energy type.

Draconic Resilience (Ex): At 11th level, the dragon lung's resilience reaches new heights. They gain immunity to the effects of extreme temperatures, such as immunity to cold in arctic environments and immunity to heat in deserts or volcanic regions.

Draconic Aegis (Ex): At 12th level, the dragon lung gains a special protective aura. Allies within 10 feet gain energy resistance to the dragon lung's chosen energy type equal to half their class level (minimum 1).

Greater Breath Weapon (Su): At 13th level, the dragon lung's breath weapon becomes even more potent. Its damage increases to 4d6 points of damage per class level, and the Reflex save DC increases accordingly.

Draconic Presence (Su): At 14th level, the dragon lung's presence and aura grow stronger. The bonus to Charisma-based skill checks and Charisma checks increases to +4.

Draconic Invulnerability (Ex): At 15th level, the dragon lung gains damage reduction 10/magic. This damage reduction is bypassed only by attacks that are magical in nature.

Supreme Breath Weapon (Su): At 16th level, the dragon lung's breath weapon becomes supremely powerful. Its damage increases to 5d6 points of damage per class level, and the Reflex save DC increases accordingly.

Draconic Transformation (Ex): At 17th level, the dragon lung's transformation becomes more pronounced. They gain a +4 bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +2 bonus to their natural armor.

Draconic Presence (Su): At 18th level, the dragon lung's presence and aura reach their peak. The bonus to Charisma-based skill checks and Charisma checks increases to +6.

Eternal Dragon (Ex): At 19th level, the dragon lung gains immunity to aging effects, and their maximum age is no longer limited.

Draconic Ascension (Su): At 20th level, the dragon lung achieves the pinnacle of draconic power. They gain the ability to use their breath weapon at will. Additionally, once per day, they can transform into a true dragon for a number of rounds equal to their Constitution modifier, gaining all the abilities of a dragon of their chosen energy type of the same size category.
