Dragon Ball Races[edit]

Races from the Dragon Ball series.

Racial Traits[edit]

Saiyan's

  • Medium Size
  • Land Speed of 30ft
  • Humanoid (ape/animal)
  • Has a Prehensile tail and the Grasping Tail feat.
  • Despite their size Saiyan's are biologically more efficient in feats of strength compared to other races their size. You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. However, Saiyan's also require greater quantities of food and drink to sustain their massive strength, you require twice as much food as a normal Medium-sized creature would.
  • Saiyan's are known to push past what is their limit and continue to fight despite fatal injuries. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Namiken

  • Medium Size
  • Land Speed of 30ft
  • Humanoid (outsider)
  • Unarmed attacks have 15ft reach.
  • Gains Fast Healing equal to Constitution modifier, may spend a full-round to regrow a limb after you become exhausted for 1d4 rounds usable 2/day for every 2 character levels you have.
  • Namekiens can create items like clothing out of thin air.
  • Can communicate with others mentally as long as they share a common language.

Majin

  • Medium Size
  • Land Speed 40ft
  • Humanoid (Shapeshifter)
  • Unarmed attacks have 15ft reach.
  • Gains Regeneration equal to Constitution modifier, as a full-round action may heal any melee damage you received form the last round.
  • Doesn't need to sleep or breathe. A Majin must eat half their body weight in candy per day or becomes aggressive and agitated.
  • Critical Hits and sneak attacks to you have a 50% chance of dealing normal damage, this doesn't stack with other feats or spells that would do something similar (like fortification spell).


Frost Demon (Freiza Race)

  • Medium Size
  • Land Speed 30ft
  • Humanoid (outsider)
  • Has a Prehensile tail and the Grasping Tail feat.
  • Gains Damage reduction equal to Constitution modifier.
  • Frost demons don't require oxygen and are adapted to high altitude, extreme heat, and extreme cold. Thus they can survive in the vacuum of space without any duress.
  • Frost demons are far more durable than any other flesh and blood race, even being able to survive bifurcation and vivisection. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a long rest.


Earthlings

  • Medium Size
  • Humanoid (Human)
  • Land Speed 30ft
  • Gains +2 Hit points every level
  • Earthlings gain a free combat feat every even level.
  • Can grow Sensu Beans. To grow a sensu bean it takes 3 months to grow a single bean, it requires a knowledge nature check of 20 every day to keep it growing. Once the bean is done it gains the following abilities. A Living creature who eats this bean fully heals all Hit-points, Ability Damage, and all negative effects currently on the character. This cannot revive those who have already been killed. Characters below 0 Hit points that are not dead must wait 1d4 rounds before the effects of the bean take hold.


Androids

  • Medium Size
  • Land Speed 30ft
  • Humanoid (Construct)
  • Doesn't have to eat, sleep or breath, Never gets tired or exhausted, Immune to poisons, and enchantments.
  • The android possess enhanced eyes that enable them to have Darkvision 60ft. It also enables the android to spend 1 round scanning gaining a +4 to perception.
  • Androids gain the ability to absorb incoming Magical and Ki based attacks that target them. This ability functions like counter-spell, you must make a concentration check if you succeed the attack is nullified and is absorbed. The DC for the check is 10+ spell level + half the level of target rounded down. This ability is usable 1 per day for every 3 levels you possess.

Saiyan: Any but tend to lean towards Chaotic.

Namiken: Any

Majin: Any

Frost Demon (Freiza Race): Always Chaotic, but can be Evil.

Earthlings: Any

Androids: Any


Racial Bonus[edit]

Saiyan: +2 Str, +2 Con, -2 Int

Namiken: +2 Dex, +2 Con, -2 Cha

Majin: +2 Dex, +2 Wis, -2 Int

Frost Demon (Freiza Race): +2 Wis, +2 Con, -2 Cha

Earthlings: +1 to 3 different ability scores.

Androids: +2 Wis, +2 Int
