City Watch (4e Creature)

The Men and Women of the City Watch are not the be taken lightly. They may not be true soldiers but they are nonetheless tactical geniuses.

Lore[edit]

A character knows the following information after making a successful streetwise check:

DC 15: The City Watch prefer to capture rather than kill and will take measures to corner and restrain their opponent.

DC 20: The City Watch rely perhaps too heavily on their armor to defend themselves and may be susceptible to mental assaults.

DC 25: The City Watch do not give up easily and will pursue an enemy that tries to escape them. If outnumbered they can quickly summon reinforcements.

Encounters[edit]

The City Watch will usually be encountered in groups of 6 or more as it is necessary to have numbers for their tactical maneuvers.

Effect: Until the end of it's next turn, whenever City Watch Spearmen is charged by a creature, that creature takes 5 damage.

Effect: The target is also immobilized (save ends)

The City Watch will avoid full on assaults and will take the defensive path in combat (blocking off choke points, using cover etc.).
