Circle of The Mother[edit]

Circle of The Mother is a druid circle based on summoning a Couatl, to aid in healing.

Druids of The Mother have a natural connection to the earth around them, as well as the creatures around them. They are hands of the Mother herself, and protect and heal those whom reside in her lands or have no ill will towards it.

Couatl Familiar[edit]

Gained at level 2, the druid gains a premature couatl which can't not attack but can perform healing and utility magic. And you lose access to Wild Shape. It acts as an extension of your self conscious so if performs actions that your character would do with different situations. However it does have a mind of its own so if your willing is against The Mother or her lands it won't obey you. This also means you can interact with it and gain knowledge from The Mother (DM discretion). At this current time it can only speak Druidic.


It follows Druids normal leveling changes with Ability Score Improvements.

At level 2 it can cast:

2/day each: Cure Wounds

1/day each: Shield, Lesser Restoration.


At level 4 it can cast: 2/day each: Cure Wounds, Create Food and Water

1/day each: Shield, Lesser Restoration, Bless


At level 8 it can cast:

At Will: Detect Evil and Good, Detect Magic

3/day each: Cure Wounds

2/day each: Healing Word, Create Food and Water

1/day each: Shield, Lesser Restoration.


At level 12 it can cast:

At Will: Detect Evil and Good, Detect Magic, Detect Thoughts

3/day each: Cure Wounds

2/day each: Healing Word, Create Food and Water, Shield, Lesser Restoration, Bless

1/day each: Dream


At level 16 it can cast:

At Will: Detect Evil and Good, Detect Magic, Detect Thoughts

3/day each: Cure Wounds, Create Food and Water, Shield, Lesser Restoration, Protection from Poison, Sanctuary

2/day each: Healing Word, Bless

1/day each: Dream, Scrying


At level 20 it becomes full grown and can cast:

At Will: Detect Evil and Good, Detect Magic, Detect Thoughts

3/day each: Cure Wounds, Create Food and Water, Shield, Lesser Restoration, Protection from Poison, Sanctuary, Bless

2/day each: Healing Word

1/day each: Dream, Greater Restoration, Scrying



Stats are as follows
(please recommend adjustments if necessary)

Armour Class 14

Hit Dice: 1d8 per level

Hit Points at 1st Level: 9

Hit Points at Higher Levels: 1d8(or 5) + its Con. modifier per level

Speed: 15ft., fly 30ft.

STR:9(-1) DEX:12(+1) CON:13(+1) INT:11(0) WIS:16(+3) CHA:16(+3)

Damage Immunitites: Psychic; Bludgeoning, Piercing, And Slashing From Non-magical Weapons

Languages: Druidic, Telepathy 120 Ft.

Passive Perception: 13


Also at level 20 its stats become :

STR 16(+3) DEX 20(+5) CON 17(+3) INT 18(+4) WIS 18(+4) CHA 20(+5)

Traits

Innate Spellcasting: The couatl's spellcasting ability is Charisma (spell save DC 14). It can innately cast spells, requiring only verbal components

Shielded Mind: The couatl is immune to Scrying and to any effect that would sense its emotions, read its thoughts, or detect its location.
