Circle of Reptiles[edit]

Druids under the circle of reptiles have sworn to use their power purely with reptilian bonds. Many of these druids are Dragonborn, Lizardfolk, and other races with reptilian blood.

Reptilian Lineage[edit]

When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain the ability to use Wild Shape on your turn as a bonus action, rather than as an action.

Additionally, you gain the ability to telepathically communicate with any reptile or dragon within a range of 60 feet.

Reptiles and Dragons[edit]

The rites of your circle grant you the ability to transform into more dangerous forms. Starting at 2nd level, you lose the ability to transform into any beast besides reptiles, and also gain the ability to transform into dragons. You may now transform into a reptilian beast or dragon with a challenge rating as high as 1 (you ignore the Max. CR column of the Beast Shapes table). You do not need to abide by the swimming and flying limitations.

Starting at 6th level, you can transform into a reptilian beast or dragon with a challenge rating as high as your level divided by 2, rounded down.

Special Wild Shape[edit]

Starting at 6th level, you gain the ability to grow a pair of dragon wings from your back in your base form giving you a flying speed equal to twice your walking speed. You can use this ability a number of times equal to half your Wisdom modifier rounded up. These wings can be sustained a number of hours equal to 1/2 of your druid level rounded down. As well you grown a Dragons tail length equal to your height divided by 2 rounded down you are proficient with attacks using this tail and deal 1d8+your Strength mod. At level 10, you can keep your wings and tail indefinitely at the cost of one point of exhaustion every 24 hours.

In addition, your attacks in beast or dragon form count as magical for the purposes of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Deadly Reptilians[edit]

At 10th level, you are highly trained and studied in reptilian wild shaping. When using wild shape to transform into a reptilian beast, you may spend your other use of wild shape to increase the reptile's size by one size category. You gain +2 to strength, -1 to Dexterity, and your AC drops by 1 while in this form. Your size cannot exceed gargantuan. Also at this level you are able to wild shape into a Wyvern or a Giant Crocodile once per long rest.

Reptilian Master[edit]

At 14th level, you have completely mastered your ability to wild shape into dragons. Now you are able to use both uses of your wild shape to transform into any Young Dragon. Additionally, you can wild shape more than twice by succeeding a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. The DC increases by 5 every subsequent time you use wild shape before a short or long rest. On a fail, you enter a mindless rage and attack everything in sight while in your wild shape form until your hit points drop to 0. At this level you may also use both wilds shapes to wild shape into an adult dragon of your choice and the dc is upped to a DC 20 Wisdom saving throw with the same increases each subsequent time.
