Chain Death (3.5e Spell)
From D&D Wiki
|Range:||Close (25 ft. + 5 ft. /2 levels)|
|Saving Throw:||Fortitude negates|
Upon the casting of this spell, the primary target must make a Fortitude save or be slain instantly. Even on a successful save the target still suffers 3d6 points of damage.
The negative energy of the spell then arcs to strike a number of secondary targets equal to your caster level. The targets are struck in order of their distance from the caster (closest first). They must make a Fortitude save (DC half of first save) or be slain. Even if they succeed at the save they are still dealt 1d6+3 damage.
Material component: A bracelet of skulls, worth at least 500 gp
