Balefire Blast (3.5e Invocation)

This eldritch essence invocation changes your eldritch blast into a balefire blast. A balefire blast channels negative energy.
Against living targets, it deals damage and grants you temporary hit points equal to one-half the damage dealt. These temporary hit points do not stack.
Against undead targets, they are healed for one-half the normal amount of damage it would have otherwise dealt.
